Terms of Service

These terms describe how subscriptions, accounts, billing, and acceptable use work for GAIN - Game Asset Index.

Service Provider

GAIN - Game Asset Index is provided by Piste Software in Finland. The service helps game developers track Unity asset purchases, licenses, tags, engine compatibility, project usage, and planned use notes.

Accounts and Access

You need an account to save library data, manage projects, import asset metadata, and use paid subscription capacity. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

Demo mode is read-only and uses static sample data. Account data is saved only after sign-in.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on the selected monthly or yearly billing cycle until canceled. Stripe processes payments, checkout, tax calculation, invoices, and billing portal access.

VAT and other applicable taxes are calculated through Stripe Tax during checkout. The final checkout price may include tax based on billing details and customer location.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal from the Subscription page. After cancellation, paid access continues until the current paid period ends unless Stripe or applicable law requires a different result.

Refunds and Withdrawal

Refund requests are reviewed case by case through support. Contact admin@gameassetindex.com with the account email and billing details.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply under EU or Finnish law.

Data After Cancellation

Canceling a paid subscription does not delete your account or library data. Your account remains available under the active free or paid limits. You can request account or data deletion by contacting support.

Acceptable Use

Use the service only for lawful asset-library tracking and related project organization. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass account limits, access another user's data, or upload content that you do not have rights to process.

Unity, Unity Asset Store, and related Unity names and marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of Unity Technologies or its affiliates. GAIN - Game Asset Index is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Unity Technologies.

References to Unity and Unity Asset Store are for compatibility, import, asset-source identification, and user-library organization only.

Changes and Contact

These terms may be updated when the product, subscription model, legal requirements, or processors change. Material changes should be reflected on this page before they apply.
